Today I am putting up my four paws out there to help the world.
My two-leggers make certain to keep a fresh water bottle with us everywhere we go. They refer to this water bottle as “Sadie’s Water” That’s me! I am privileged to have fresh sanitary water every day. I am spoiled with fresh bottled water that has reduced amounts of copper, lead, and other metal contaminants since it does not run through the plumbing pipes where tap water is exposed to metal corrosion. Unfortunately not everyone in the world is as lucky as I am to have access to this wonderful “Sadie Water”. The truth is we are in a world crisis when it comes to water and sanitary conditions.
The facts: 1 in 10 people in our world do not have access to safe drinking water and almost 2 in 5 people do not have access to a private, clean toilets. This is a health crisis that causes about 2,000 children to die everyday from water related diseases.
