I did not have a clean sweep with my Oscar picks but I did better than some two-leggers. Out of 24 categories I predicted 15! I knew I was picking some of the underdogs so I am very happy for all the winners and all the people who are winners just because they were nominated.
My favorite movie did well, Gravity took home 7! 12 Years a Slave pulled in the big one Best Picture of the Year and my favorite quote of the night came from the Best Supporting Actress who said: “When I look down at this golden statue, may it remind me and every little child that no matter where you’re from, your dreams are valid.” – Nyong’o. Which is why I have accepted my dream of being a “dogtronaut”
