I am working on my PupScout Ice Cream Badge and have a recipe to share with everyone. Now this recipe is not for the faint of stomach, there is a waiting period for eating this wonderful PupCream.
1. Pick out some nice ripe B.A.N.A.N.A.S! 3 to be exact.
2. Peel them naked.
(you might need your paw-rents help here)
HERE IS THE HARD PART…PUT THEM ON ICE AND FREEZE OVERNIGHT-NIGHT.
NITE, NITE BANANAS… see you in 24 hours!
3. Blend Bananas in
the food processor
3. Add in 1 Tablespoon of creamy peanut butter
SERVE IMMEDIATELY or place in a container and freeze for a firmer treat. I eat mine rignt away! No time like the present to give yourself a tasty treat. If you like, you can add in strawberries or blueberriess too! I like mine classic.
YUM YUM YUM
now that’s one tasty PUPCREAM
ENJOY!!!
PS
the two-leggers like this mixture too,
so make sure to finish your bowl or they may eat it!
love ya Miss Sadie

We have a Yonana machine that uses frozen bananas as the base for tasty frozen non-dairy desserts. Unfortunately, Lexi hated bananas and anything that had them it it.

Have you tried using pumpkin Puree as the base?

My Binky’s the same way! She has loved or at least tasted very healthy human food dogs can eat that I’ve given her but she turned her nose up to bananas right away the first time, and the second time she took it and sat down with it but seconds later barked at it and circled it like it was the enemy lol. I came to accept she does not like bananas. So I actually made her a treat using kefir and peanut butter and she loved that! The cold treat was great for her teething, and the kefir added some probiotics with out the lactos like most dairy. I don’t give her any other source of dairy! I then mixed the two up and froze them in cute little paw shaped silicone molds ^_^ And of course she insisted I chop it up in tiny bits for her, which I was happy to do.
